Will Standridge has been our Lead Pastor since February 2024 at FBCG. Will is originally from Blountsville, Alabama where he grew up in a loving, Christian home. At the age of 8 Will trusted in Christ. After graduating from Oneonta High School, he pursued his calling in ministry, obtaining a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College, followed by an M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a D.Min. in Applied Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as well. Before joining us, Will served in various student ministry roles across Alabama, Kentucky, and Texas. At home, Will is a devoted husband to Kendyl and a loving father to Mackenzie Jo. He enjoys reading, spending time with his dogs (Barkley and Gus), and cheering for Auburn sports. Will's ministry is deeply rooted in his love for preaching and his desire to see Christians deepen their love for Jesus and his people. He is committed to inspiring our church to embrace the Gospel with open hearts and to share this transformative message in our community and beyond. In addition to his pastoral duties, Will often shares his insights on Student Ministry, Theology, and practical ministry through contributions through organizations like The Gospel Coalition, For the Church, and more.
