Welcome

We are excited about what God is doing at FBC Geraldine. There is something going on for everyone in your family, and we would love for you to take time to visit and to become involved in the ministry here. Most importantly the Bible is proclaimed and taught and lives are being changed for the Glory of God. We are currently expanding our sanctuary and are meeting in the fellowship hall for worship. We hope you will join us at any of our worship services or for Bible study.

Announcements

  • Restarting Services May 17th!!!

We will begin worship on campus Sunday morning May 17th

3 service times 9:00, 10:30, & 5:00 each service will be as close to the same as we can plan on them to be.

We ask for our senior adults and anyone that has high-risk factors to attend the 9:00 service.

We will continue to Facebook live the 10:30 service for anyone that does not feel comfortable attending.

Hand sanitizer and masks will be available if you want to use them.

Of course, you are welcome to bring your own mask or gloves and wear them if you would like.

We have removed half of the seating and spaced the rows 6 feet apart to help with social distancing.

We will ask for different families to leave 3 chairs between themselves and another family.

For now, we will not provide a staffed nursery or children’s church.

Sunday School hour will not restart as normal for a few more weeks. If a Sunday School class would like to meet please let us know and we will set the Heat/AC and also provide a room where social distancing can be observed.

If you are sick or running a fever PLEASE do not attend church at this time.

We do not want to make people uncomfortable or put anyone at undo risk so we ask that you help us by not shaking hands, hugging… Basically just don’t touch for now. Let’s be thankful we can resume meeting together even in smaller groups.

Wednesday night service will restart but no children activities. Blake will be in contact with the youth and their parents about their plans.

Offering plates will not be passed but they will be available at each exit.

This is the plan for now. We will see what the attendance looks like in the services and adjust as necessary.

  • Local Missions

We are excited for the opportunity to help with Rose of Sharon in Albertville.  If you're not familiar with Rose of Sharon, they are a post-addiction ministry that provides shelter to women who are walking with their identity in Christ and leaving their pasts behind.

Rose of Sharon provides education, housing, therapy, addiction counseling and a godly community.

They're currently seeking items to furnish their residences, so please visit the Amazon site below and help as you can.  If you would like more information on Rose of Sharon or Handfuls of Purpose, please contact Jordanna Rowley at jordanna@handfulsofpurpose.net.

    Thank you for your support!
